Such a beauty! This is the first time this little guy has been offered for sale. He is a real feast for the eyes, and I am a little in love with him if I'm honest!
Created while I was in the Philippines, this was another artwork where I found solace after the death of my husband. This is an Anna's Hummingbird, and hummingbirds in general have an association with spirits and the departed. All I know is that this is the second of these little guys I drew in the aftermath of his departure, and both mean a great deal to me. I hope they bring solace, or just a little happiness to you, when you need it.

Pan Pastel black background with pastel pencil details and finished with pops from Senellier soft pastel.
Framed modestly in a black frame with a black mount to fit 11x14. The artwork is 6.5" x 10".
The artwork has not been 'fixed' with a fixative, so there may be some dust drop from the pastels. It is recommended you upgrade the framing to include UV protective and anti-glare glass, as well as a dust trap for collecting any fall-off pastel.
