Hi there!
I rekindled my love of art and creativity in 2017 after leaving a happy 27 years in Local Government. Having an art career wasn't on the cards at the time, I was drawing and painting as a way to decompress and to help with what was going on, health wise, with my late husband.

Fast forward to 2019 and I'm in love with drawing again. I'm doing commissions, honing my skills and really enjoying myself. I continued to experiment and try all kinds of styles and even won some international awards along the way. By 2022 I was focussing on personal growth and finding my style, until 2023, when my husband and I moved to the Philippines.
Now, I'm back in the UK on my own. I have re-opened my commission books for artworks of all kinds.

My work is always colourful, mostly unusual and often complex. I don't have a theme, preferring to be completely intuitive and free to feel inspired by whatever catches my eye. I now specialise in realism with coloured pencils, but I am always trying new things, different styles and mediums. I write a semi-regular blog where I discuss ideas and topics that excite me and a light-hearted monthly newsletter where I can connect with people who are interested in my work.

I have been an Artist Ambassador for Derwent for 3 years, a position that enables me to continue to grow and experiment. In 2023 I was proud to be commissioned to create the artwork for their flagship product, 100 Inktense Pencils.
I love being part of the artist community, and always try to encourage others in their exploration of art and creativity. I am now passing on my knowledge via in-person and online workshops, written tutorials and personalised 1:1s. I do LIVE videos and have a monthly Colour Pencil Clinic in Leisure Painter magazine.

I am based in Winchester, Hampshire, UK.
